Great Expectations

Miss Havisham's character is very well put together. I like the fact that she has a strong character but beneath what she portrays she is weak and an emotional wreck. Her pride swallows her up she wants to destroy everyone, because she didn't reach happiness because as soon as she was close to the point of happiness Compeyson the source of help to get to the point just drop her and everything fell apart. Her controlling and sly movements is what makes me admire her the most. When she was telling Pip in his ear to love Estella I felt that she was hypnotizing him as well as me because I imagine her soft, weak, and tranquil voice saying "love her" over and over.
